2023 marked the year that Croydon became the Mayor of London’s Borough of Culture. Croydon Council required an overarching identity for the programme of upcoming events that represented Croydon’s unique identity, diverse communities, culture and creativity.

The name – ‘This is Croydon’ has a real sense of power to it – a statement of intent which people can get behind.
We created a brand identity that matched the strength of the name. A visual tone of voice that has resilience, a bold simplicity and an unwavering confidence that embodies dynamism, energy and movement.
